Did you know that, if you are not married and you die without having made a Will, your cohabitant will get, absolutely, nothing?

I was stopped by a client who was asking about this. There is a definite lack of knowledge out there.
Many people think that not being married is the same as being married. It isn’t.
The result could be absolutely tragic and, as a family man, I am concerned about that.
There are, of course, good reasons why some people , deliberately, don’t get married. Inheritance is one of those.
But, if you are one of those who have not made a will because you didn’t know about this, perhaps now is the time.
